MOTORCYCLES
When working with motorcycles we usually see the frames only, but have done dozens of other motorcycle parts as well. Parts are stripped to bare metal and blasted as needed. Chromed parts can be coated over as long as the chrome doesn’t fail from the blasting and the heat while curing (typically 400 degrees).
We have worked on “good ol’ beaters” to forty thousand dollar plus show (and go!) bikes. We almost always have some sort of a motorcycle in our shop. Quads usually fall in this same category.
Motorcycle parts that can typically be powder coated include:
Frames
Tanks Fenders
Hubs Rims
Handlebars Levers
Engine heads Jugs
Cases Triple trees
Springs Headlight and signal housings
Racks Sissy bars
Any metal items except exhaust pipes and mufflers.
